In these times of Coronavirus and the fact that we must stay home I am looking at the beauty of isolation. In the countryside around me everything has purpose, keeps a distance, the perfect distance for growth. The odd tree alone, a flower in a window, objects do cope with being alone. As the seasons have changed and trees and plants have turned green, the woodlands and rivers are places of healing, How lucky are we that we can sit and watch nature unfold around us. It has really made me look at where I live and given me time to think about a number of projects or processes. It’s my take for now.

The treatment of these images was made with the view of creating memories, to remember life before lockdown. Sweet summer sun, dry and dusty paths meandering into nowhere.

Now a year later the sensations are more accute the images mean more. They have relavance to me.
