This image was made on Washi paper. A Japanese treated to be photo-senstive. Using a hassleblad camera I went to Cornwall to photograph the rocks. Not know the film had a light leak and wasn’t winding on properly I kept on making pictures. On return and seeing the film, this long negative had a strange ‘space odyssey’ like quality. So as this year is 50 years since the landing on the moon i thought it appropriate to place the lunar capsule of Apollo 17 in front of the middle planet or rock. Apollo 17 was the last Apollo mission to the moon.
20 inches on long side.
Edition of 17.
Signed and Stamped.
